Every Saturday and Sunday through the end of this summer, you can come visit Keel Farms for a full day of fun! Families are welcome to this free event and will receive a wristband for water activities after signing a waiver. Bring your sunscreen, your beach towels, and your swimsuits, and Summerfest at Keel Farms will do the rest!

Summer Circus Spectacular at the Ringling brings back the legendary circus days of yore from July 14 all the way through August 8. This year. This one-hour show features comedy, audience interaction, and some of the best classic circus acts. Plus, it all takes place in a historic venue from the heyday of the Ringling Bros. Circus. Admission to the Historic Circus Galleries is just $5 extra with each $15 (children) or $20 (adult) ticket.
A few of the acts you'll see in this theater-style show include:

Slack wire
Juggling
Aerial spiral
Duo roller skating and duo trapeze
Hand balancing
Parrish Park Summerfest returns this year on August 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. courtesy of the Parrish Civic Association. It's 100% free to the community. It will have a little bit of everything you think of when you think "Florida summer," including special events that adults and kids are sure to love.

The 16th Annual Fabulous Independent Film Festival is a production of the nonprofit Fabulous Arts Foundation and has been a mainstay of the independent cinema scene along Florida's Suncoast. Visitors will gather to enjoy the independent films screened at the historic Burns Theatre, then head down the street for the opening-night reception and filmmaker panels. It's sure to be a night to remember for any local film buff!
The 2026 Suncoast Storytelling Festival is a celebration of the traditional arts of oral storytelling. Running for a whole month, it includes workshops and "story swap" events during the day and live concerts in the evening. No matter your age or background, you will find a workshop that helps you put your own unique story into words. Prepare to be amazed by your local storytelling community with both comedic and dramatic stories.
